Local Pick-up, Shipping & Delivery

We are happy to provide local delivery services!

Our delivery days are Monday through Friday, 12PM-6PM.

Sorry, no deliveries on weekends or holidays (New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day).

 

Where do you offer local delivery?

Please review the updated zip codes for delivery when checking out and paying for your products. If delivery is currently available in your zip code, local delivery can be selected as an option for order fulfillment.

How much does local delivery cost? Local delivery is just $10 to every area.

Is there a minimum order for local delivery? Yes. Orders must be at least $35 before tax.

*Backordered items are not eligible for local delivery and will be removed from your cart at checkout.

When do you deliver? Deliveries will be made Monday through Friday during the day, starting 12PM NOON and ending when the last delivery is made.

No weekend or holiday deliveries are available at this time.

Is there a cut-off time to order same-day delivery? Yes. Orders placed by 11:00AM will be delivered the same day.  Orders placed after 11:00AM will be delivered on the next available delivery day.

 

What happens if I’m not home to take delivery? If you are not at home, your order will be left on/in your doorway or in the place you designate.

How will my products be packaged? Your order will be delivered to you in a plain brown bag.

You will receive a text message or phone call letting you know your order has been delivered. We cannot guarantee items will not be taken by ‘porch pirates.’

We will make every effort to contact you on the day of delivery to confirm your delivery window if you provide your contact information when you order.

Local Pick-up in our Moyock, NC location

Items ordered for local pick-up in our Moyock, North Carolina location will be ready for pick-up by the end of the day of your order if products are available and in stock.

If items are unavailable or out of stock, you will be contacted and every effort will be made to substitute your item with a like product of equal or greater value. You also have the option to wait until the item becomes available in our inventory or you may request a refund for your order.

We will hold your pick-up item for (3) business days.

Items that have not been paid awaiting pick-up will be restocked after (3) business days.
Items that have been paid awaiting pick-up will be offered the option to refund their purchases or extend the pick-up window beyond (3) days at their request. Please prepare to share an estimated pick-up date if you will not be able to pick up your order within (3) business days.

Shipping Services via US Postal Service

Shipments, Delivery, Title and Risk of Loss

We will arrange for shipment or delivery of the products to you. Please check the individual product page for specific delivery options.

You will pay all shipping and handling charges unless otherwise specified in the order confirmation. We then pay the US Post Office on your behalf to ship your products to you based on the shipping class you requested in your order (FREE, Priority Mail, Ground Advantage).

We ship Monday-Friday. We do not ship on holidays when the US Postal Service is closed. We do not ship on days when we are closed (i.e., closures due to weather).

Why do we use the US Postal Service for shipping? Simply because other shipping services, like Fed Ex and UPS, prohibit us from shipping many of these products to you, and these shipping services do not guarantee that your shipment won’t be seized or held by law enforcement until they can be inspected to ensure you did not order marijuana.  We would also need to provide a packet of information (lab tests, vendor certifications, federal registration information, etc.) for each product we ship, which adds exorbitant time and cost to your order. Therefore, the US Postal Service is currently the only carrier that permits shipment of these products to you without risking capture or overburdensome regulatory requirements.  Just another way prohibition still exists to make it more difficult to offer these products to you as a citizen.

NOTE: All shipping is tracked via USPS. Priority Shipping begins AFTER your order is dropped off at the USPS. Hemp Haven is not responsible for delays in shipping caused by the USPS.

For those of you in the back who have difficulty understanding this process, what this means is that WE OFFER NO REFUNDS BECAUSE THE POST OFFICE DID NOT DELIVER YOUR ORDER TO YOU IN THE TIME FOR WHICH WE  PAID ON YOUR BEHALF BASED ON YOUR REQUESTED SHIPPING CLASS. YOUR DEMAND FOR A REFUND BECAUSE OF THE POST OFFICE’S SHIPPING DELAYS SHOULD GO TO THE UNITED STATES POST OFFICE, NOT TO US, AS WE PAID THE US POST OFFICE FOR YOUR SHIPPING AND IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO GET IT TO YOU BASED ON THE SERVICE THAT WE PAID THEM ON YOUR BEHALF.

Damage Due to Freight or Shipping

All of our products are tested for quality, and all shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse. Upon delivery of your order, please check the product carefully to ensure it has not been damaged during shipping. All claims for damaged or defective product must be made within forty-eight (48) hours after delivery. Delivery is defined as the date the U.S. Postal Service confirms via tracking number that your order was delivered to the address you specified in your order. When you contact us, please provide detailed information for any product damaged during shipping within that time. Please include your order number and a full description of the damages or defects to the product.
